Bernard Lawrence Greenberg, known affectionately as Bernie, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2024, at the age of 71. He was born on June 8, 1952, in Brooklyn, NY, and most recently resided in Ormond Beach, FL.
Bernie was a man of many hobbies and interests. He loved spending time boating, watching his beloved grandkids, and taking pride in meticulously mowing the lawn. When it came to food, he had a particular fondness for steak, shrimp, and lobster. Soccer and hockey were his favorite sports, which he enjoyed following and discussing with great enthusiasm.
Professionally, Bernie worked as a Warner Cable Electrician, demonstrating his dedication and expertise in his field. He often quoted his favorite sayings, such as "It's too cold" and "Where's the salt?", which brought laughter and warmth to those around him.
Among his proudest accomplishments was providing a boat for his family, creating cherished memories of joyful moments spent together on the water. Bernie's commitment and devotion to his loved ones knew no bounds, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and care.
Bernie is survived by his loving spouse, Randi Greenberg, with whom he shared a beautiful journey. He was a proud father to his three sons: David, the oldest, blessed with two children; Marc, the middle child, who has three children; and Brian, the youngest, who has one child. Bernie's brother, Neil Greenberg, also mourns his passing.
Friends and family will fondly remember Bernie for his caring nature, his helpful spirit, and his unwavering determination. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know and love him.
