Benjamin Steven Smith, age 73, of Dodge City, Kansas, passed away on September 4, 2025. He was born on March 19, 1952.
Benjamin was a devoted husband to his wife, Barbra Smith, and a loving father to his children, Steven Smith and Debra Smith. He was also a proud grandfather to Rachel Smith, Bekah Smith, Hannah Smith, Jacob Smith, Shannon Smith, Melissa Ortiz, Trisha Ayers, and Jason Ayers.
He spent more than 50 years as a self-employed tree arborist, building a career defined by hard work and dedication. Outside of his profession, Benjamin enjoyed visiting the casino, working on puzzles, taking walks with his wife, and most of all, spending time with his family.
