Benjamin “Ben” Fehr left his final mark on this Earth on March 27,2024, at the tender age of 77 years old in Pensacola, Florida. Ben endured a very long and valiant battle of Alzheimer's. Although this disease eventually stole all his memories, laughter and coy smile from himself and those who loved him, it never stole our precious memories made with Ben.

Ben was born on October 12,1946 in Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, Mexico. His family relocated to Canada in April of 1952. Ben was the second youngest of eleven children, four of which died at a very young age.

Growing up, Ben learned how to farm and gained a strong work ethic.

In the early 90’s, Ben and his wife Lola moved to Villa Tasso, (Niceville) Florida to enjoy the sunshine and warmth and escape the harsh winters in Canada.

During their time in Florida, Ben and Lola ran a few different businesses. Ben had a passion for painting, yard work and gardening. Ben enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow up, his cats and spending time with his family.

Ben is preceded in death by his loving wife, Lola Fehr; parents George and Aganetha (Nee Hamm) Fehr; numerous brothers and sisters and grandson, Christopher Mathie.

Ben is survived by his only son, Shane (Tina)Fehr; step sons John, Tim (Cheri) and Russ Mathie. One sister, Agnes Enns(Bill) and two brothers, John(Barb) and Jake(Joyce) Fehr. Granddaughter's, Brittanie Chabot and Chloe Fehr; grandson Michael Mathie and 7 great grandchildren. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Ben was a likeable, fun loving, jokester of a man. Everyone enjoyed his presence and Ben will be missed immensely. Please cherish and remember Ben for who he was and not what he became when he was stolen from us by the unfair and bizarre disease of Alzheimer's. We love you and will miss you with all our hearts.
