I first met Beest when he appeared in Case #27 of Maryell's Desire of the Past season, "Dying in the Rain," and ever since then I knew he was promising because of his iconic name and pose. Beest continued to appear in Case #30, "Deadtime! The Phantoms!" and even in Case #40, the iconic "Blood No." However, as Beest continued to appear in other cases, such as "Grape Aid" (Case #49), "Purple Posey Killer" (Case #54), and most recently, "Hateful Power" (Case #58), it became clear that as an antagonist, Beest would not last for much longer.

The second Maryell released the teaser for "Failed for the Night" (Case #59) today, me and several others felt several emotions rushing through our bodies at the same time. We felt shock, sadness, and a deep sense of grief as we saw the picture of the tragedy that occurred today. I am currently in denial, the first stage of grief, as I am saying this speech with a heavy heart thinking that Beest is still alive and Maryell is just trolling us, but deep down, I know this is not the case.

So let us mourn, let us grieve, and let us accept the fact that Beest has passed on, and let's focus our attention on obliterating whoever dared kill him, which hopefully shall be revealed shortly. Until then, I will see you on the other side, my friend!
