Bathsheba C. Walker, affectionately known as Sheba, passed away on October 15, 2024, at the age of 68. Born on December 16, 1955, in Cleveland, Ohio, Sheba spent her later years living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Sheba was a devoted mother and grandmother, leaving behind her beloved daughters, Alyse Walker and Andrea Walker, along with her cherished grandchildren: Arianna Walker, Zaria Gibson, Kayla James, Zyanna Walker, Inara James, Zavon Walker, Zayden Walker, and Zavian Walker. She is also survived by her brothers, Zachary Caldwell and Leonard Caldwell, as well as her sister, Cynthia Caldwell. Her partner, Tony Jones, stood by her side throughout their life together.

A graduate of Temple University, Sheba had a rewarding career as a medical receptionist and was known for her great sense of humor and quick wit. She was a nurturing mother figure to many of her daughters' friends. Her dedication to her community was evident in her role as a Girl Scout Troop Leader, where she used her life experiences to mentor and guide young girls.

Sheba had a passion for reading, immersing herself in romance, mystery, horror, and science fiction. She was a fan of authors such as Isaac Asimov, Frank Herbert, Eric Jerome Dickey, and Walter Mosley. Music was also a significant part of her life; she enjoyed the smooth sounds of the Whispers, Chi-Lites, and Stylistics, as well as jazz music from artists like Earl Klugh, Wes Montgomery, and Roy Ayers.

Known for her playful spirit, Sheba would often change the words of popular songs for a laugh, leaving those around her with a smile. Her favorite foods included hamburgers and French fries, which she enjoyed sharing with family.
