Barnetta Haskins, affectionately known as Bonnie, passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 79. She was born on December 29, 1944, in Mississippi, and most recently resided in San Diego, CA.

Bonnie was a nurse by profession, dedicating her life to caring for others. Her proudest accomplishments and contributions were her children and grandchildren, Veonetta, Edgar, Curtis, Angel, Asharra, and Larice. She cherished every moment spent with her beloved family and always had a smile on her face when surrounded by her grandchildren.

In her free time, Bonnie enjoyed dancing, singing, and playing with her grandkids. She had a vibrant personality and was known for her funny and outgoing nature. Bonnie had a deep love for music, with favorite bands including The Whispers and Smokey Robinson.

Bonnie had a fondness for steak and shrimp, and these dishes often made appearances during family gatherings. Her warm and kind-hearted nature touched the lives of many, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Bonnie is survived by her loving husband, Emanuel Haskins, who stood by her side throughout their journey together. They shared countless memories and cherished moments.
