For 62 years, 7 months, 20 days and not enough minutes she was ours. We laughed alot, shed a few tears and had our fair share of fights, all while building a forever love. Her life mattered, she meant so much to so many of us. It's hard to capture all of who she was in words but if you could read our hearts maybe then you would understand the significant role she played in our lives. She has always been the life of the party and her smile and sense of humor would light up any room. She will forever live in our hearts and minds.
Softly in the morning You heard a gentle call, You took the hand fool offered you, And quietly left us all. The day you left us all, Our hearts just broke in two, The smallest part is still with us, And the biggest part with you. For the rest of our lives we will miss you, Our secret tears still flow, Oh, how we really loved you, No one will ever know. We miss your smile, your joking ways We miss the things, you used to say, And when old times we do recall, It's when we miss you most of all. You were always there when we needed you, No task too great or small, With loving heart and willing hands, For us you did it all. Look around your garden Lord, And when she turns and smiles, Put your arms around her, And hold her for a while.
