Barbara June Mick, affectionately known as Bobbie, was born on October 31, 1934, in Jacksonville, Florida, and passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024, in her beloved hometown. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Bobbie dedicated her life to her family and her faith, leaving a legacy of love and kindness.
She was married to Hugh Mick, with whom she shared a profound bond that lasted throughout their years together. Bobbie’s love extended to her brother, Ernest Flanders (Sandy); her daughter, Pamela Doenges; and her son, Lawrence Wolfe (Susan). She took immense pride in her five grandchildren, Rodney Walker (Autumn), Chad Walker (Meredith), Brent Wolfe, Darrin Wolfe, and Deanna Doenges, as well as her nine great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.
A woman of faith, Bobbie lived by the motto, "Everything happens for a reason," guiding her actions and interactions with others. Her dedication to Christ was evident in her involvement with Whitehouse Assembly, where she made a significant impact on her community. She was also a loving and active mother, serving as a Girl Scout Leader and nurturing her children's development.
Barbara was known for her strength, kindness, and unwavering faith. She touched the lives of many with her loving spirit and dedication to her family and church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reuben and Itara Flanders; her sister, Margaret Haynes; and her son, Gregory Wolfe.
Bobbie's warm heart and commitment to her loved ones will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to be part of her life.
