Barbara Diane Oliver, affectionately known as Dirty D, passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 61. She was born on April 13, 1962, in Americus, GA, and had been residing in Atlanta, GA.
Barbara was a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister. She leaves behind a legacy of love and care that will be cherished by all who knew her. Barbara was a vibrant and energetic soul, always ensuring that she was the life of the party. Her favorite motto in life was to "always be the life of the party."
Barbara was a proud mother to Sekeithia Johnson and James Oliver, and a doting grandmother to Shae Oliver, Jekeithia Johnson, Waynesha Brooks, Taylor Parrom, Wayne Brooks,Chasity Oliver, Brennan Johnson, Kyri Jones, and Tre Jones.
She is survived by her siblings, Louise Oliver, Patricia Oliver, Dean Oliver and Joe Oliver. Barbara had a heart of gold and was known for her loving and caring nature. She was a remarkable grandmother and sister, always ready to lend a helping hand. Barbara made sure that any family member in need had a roof over their head and would have given her last if she could. Her love and care knew no bounds and she treated all her family equally.
Barbara was actively involved in her community and had a passion for helping others. She often extended a helping hand by feeding the homeless and the needy. Her acts of kindness brought joy and comfort to those in need.
Barbara held strong Christian beliefs and found solace in her faith. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her infectious smile and love for dancing will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Barbara's love for elephants was well-known and symbolized her gentle and caring nature.
