Barbara was a gentle soul known for her kindness and unwavering faith. She loved her family, her dog Frannie, and her faith in Jesus deeply. Her last days were filled with concern for others, as she continued to pray for those around her.

Barbara Brady, beloved mother, grandmother, and devoted follower of Jesus, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2024, in Joshua, TX at the age of 87. She was born on March 28, 1937, in Sioux Falls, SD, to loving parents who instilled in her the values of kindness and faith.
Barbara's gentle soul and unwavering faith were the hallmarks of her life. She found solace and strength in her church, where she dedicated herself to prayer and sought guidance from her Lord. Barbara's days were filled with concern for others, as she always had a listening ear and a compassionate heart. She truly impacted the lives of those around her through her kind demeanor and her willingness to help whenever needed.
In addition to her devotion to her faith, Barbara treasured her family above all else. She was married to her loving husband, Ed Brady, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. They were blessed with four children, Mark Barnes, Mike Barnes, Melinda Billings and Shawna Davis, who brought immense joy into their lives. Barbara adored her many grandchildren Joshua, Seth, Vanessa Barnes, Amanda, Katie and Chase Billings and many great-grandchildren, who brought endless happiness and cherished memories.
Barbara's favorite place in the world was simply home, where she found comfort in the familiar and surrounded herself with loved ones. She also had a special bond with her dog Frannie, who provided companionship and unconditional love.
Barbara's legacy will forever be remembered by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who had the privilege to know her. Her kind and gentle nature touched the lives of many, and her unwavering faith continues to inspire those who knew her.
A memorial service to celebrate Barbara's life and honor her memory will be held at her church, where she found solace and community. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the church in Barbara's name, as it was a cause close to her heart.
Barbara Brady will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May her soul find eternal peace in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
