When you remember me, Please do not weep. My body may not be there. It has chosen to sleep. I'm not that far away. My soul lives on, Looking down, watching over You and everyone. And when you feel sad And life seems so blue, Just remember That my spirit has its arms around you. And on those special days, Times that you wish I could see, That cool breeze flowing past you... Well, that will be me, So don't be sad. Have no fear. God has taken me under his wing, But I'll always be near. I still watch you Every minute, every day. My love and soul are with you, And that's where they will stay.
Austin Dawn Hesler, lovingly known as Bubba, was born on March 3, 2005, in Carrollton, GA. He peacefully passed away on July 4, 2024, at the age of 19 in his hometown of Carrollton.
Austin was a young man with a heart full of love and compassion. He found joy in various activities such as hunting, fishing, and lending a helping hand at local food kitchens. One of his greatest passions was playing baseball, and he made his mark as the first person in his family to pursue the sport in college.
When he wasn't on the field, Austin enjoyed devouring his favorite dish of Fried Chicken Gizzards and listening to Luke Bryan's music. He found solace on the pitcher's mound, which he considered his favorite place in the world. Austin also found entertainment in watching shows like Rick and Morty and engaging in sports like tennis and golf.
With a 4.0 GPA and an All-American title in baseball, Austin's achievements were a testament to his hard work and dedication. He received a scholarship to Louisiana State University, where he had dreams of furthering his athletic career.
Austin's impact on others extended beyond his achievements. His giving, caring, and humble nature touched the lives of everyone he encountered. He had a remarkable ability to brighten any room with his infectious personality.
In addition to his love for sports, Austin was actively involved in community service. He dedicated his time to the Carroll County food kitchen and served as a team captain, exemplifying his leadership qualities.
Austin's faith was an essential aspect of his life, and his Christian beliefs provided him with strength and guidance. He cherished his relationship with God and his family above all else.
Although Austin may no longer be physically present, his spirit lives on, watching over his loved ones from above. As Jaylin beautifully expressed, Austin's soul continues to embrace those he left behind. He will forever be remembered for his genuine love and unwavering support.
Austin Dawn Hesler leaves behind a legacy of kindness and selflessness. His memory will forever be treasured in the hearts of his family, friends, and the community he touched. May he rest in eternal peace.
All family and friends are welcome to come show your love to Austin one last and can share anything he has done for you in life
