Audrey Frances Warner passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025, at the age of 92. She was born in Manhattan, New York, to Frances Marie Maloney and Carl Leslie Winkler. After the passing of her father when she was just three years old, Audrey was lovingly raised by extended family until her mother married Harlow Dammann, who adopted Audrey and her brother, changing their surname to Dammann.

Audrey is survived by her sons, Raymond (Ashlie) Warner and Michael D. Warner; her half-brother, John (Jean) Dammann; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored deeply. She was preceded in death by her beloved children, Dale E. Covington, Elizabeth Marie “Beth” Brinkman, and Laurie Frances Mitchell, as well as her brother, Carl Leslie Dammann.

Known affectionately as “Grandma Audrey” and “Grandma Great,” she was the heart of her family and the light in many lives. Her greatest pride and joy was her family—she often reminded us with a smile, “None of you would be here if it weren’t for me!” Audrey’s life was marked by kindness, laughter, and unwavering love. She had a remarkable way of making everyone feel special and supported, always offering her time, encouragement, and a good laugh.

Audrey brought joy, warmth, and compassion to all who knew her. Her legacy is one of love, resilience, and the many lives she touched simply by being herself.

She will be laid to rest at Centerville Cemetery Thursday May 8th at 11:00 am. Memorial service to follow.

She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
