Throughout his life, Arthur embodied the spirit of a missionary and was known as a jack of all trades. He firmly believed in the power of readiness, often quoting, "One thing for sure and two things without a doubt, if you stay ready, you don’t have to get ready." His journey was marked by many proud accomplishments, the most significant being his renewed chance at fatherhood.
Arthur was married to Barbara Ann William, and together they shared a beautiful life. He was a devoted father to his children, including Artreese and Miracle, and he faced the tragedy of losing his daughter, Latanya. Arthur's love extended beyond biological ties; he embraced and adopted children who needed a home, ensuring they would never experience homelessness again. His unwavering commitment to his family shone brightly even in the face of adversity.
A notable aspect of Arthur's life was his remarkable transformation. A recovered addict, he became an inspiring member of the Open Table Church, where he actively shared his testimony of God's grace, touching the hearts of many in his community. Known for his big personality and loud voice, Arthur stood firm in his beliefs and values, always advocating for those in need.
Arthur is survived by his parents, his beloved wife Barbara, and his children, Artreese and Miracle. Additional children whom he raised Jazzis, Neo, and Sumyr. His Granddaughters Ayala, Shataya, 1 more, and 1 grandson. Mentoree Marquita. Nursing Aid adopted niece Camille. He leaves behind a community forever changed by his kindness and strength. His spirit lives on in the lives he touched, reminding all of the importance of faith, family, and the power of second chances.
