Arthur Jesus Castro, affectionately known as Joe, was born on February 20, 1951, and passed away on January 21, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. A devoted husband to Rebecca Castro, Arthur cherished his family above all else, proudly raising five children who carry on his legacy of love and faith.

Arthur served in the Army, where he developed a calm and poised demeanor that remained with him throughout his life. He was known for his understanding nature, always open to listening to differing opinions. His favorite pastimes included watching westerns, savoring a glass of wine, and immersing himself in documentaries. An avid lover of all foods, Arthur found joy in sharing meals with family and friends.

He often shared his favorite motto, “Keep it down to a low roar,” reflecting his gentle approach to life. His proudest accomplishment was creating a large and loving family, a testament to his commitment to nurturing relationships.

Arthur's faith as a devoted Catholic was integral to his life and values. Stories of his experiences in the army and his upbringing painted a rich tapestry of a man who was both resilient and loving.
