April Marie Salas was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, mother, and friend.
April, 50, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022, peacefully at the home of her mother.
April was a fun loving person who loved to be silly. She had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul when you least expected it. Crazy at times, quiet at times, and sometimes even unpredictable. Yes, it's true that sometimes, you never knew which April you would get, but you could bet if there was some sort of celebration, you'd be cutting up together, and laughing until you'd cry.
She loved her family to a fault, but often had trouble showing it. She loved her children, her granddaughter, and her fur baby and she'd always express that she wish her kids really knew how much they meant to her.
In 2020, April had to lay Roscoe to rest. Roscoe was April's human child, and no one could tell her otherwise. She use to say he was the one that could never disappoint, the one that knew exactly how to comfort her, and her favorite cuddle buddy. It was hard when he left for doggy heaven. This passage would not be complete if it didn't mention Roscoe.
April is predeceased by her fur child Roscoe, her Grandmother and Grandfather Shirley and Leonard Dowdy, and her Grandmother, Simona Rodriguez, and she's left behind her daughter and son, Lauren and Reginald McClary, her granddaughter Aniya Samuel, her mother and father Irene Solano and John Dowdy, her sister and brother Christine Dowdy Cummings and John Michael Dowdy, and her nephews Christopher, Christian, and Carter.
