April Lynn Sexton, affectionately known as "Grape Apape," was born on April 1, 1980, and departed this life on September 6, 2024. She was a beloved mother, sister, daughter, and friend, known for her nurturing spirit and unwavering love for her children, Jordan Sexton, Travis Motley, and Savannah Motley. April's life revolved around her kids, whom she cherished above all else, and she dedicated herself to helping those around her, often striving to "fix the broken people."

April had a passion for gardening, a love she inherited from her mother, Martha Minor. She found joy in planting rose bushes and cultivating her garden. Her entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly when she started two cleaning businesses in 2006, called "Jordan's Natural Cleaning," showcasing her strong work ethic and commitment to providing for her family.

In addition to her business ventures, April was proud of her accomplishment of attending CNA school, which highlighted her dedication to caring for others. A fan of drama television, she enjoyed watching shows like "The Talk with Oprah" and often exclaimed her favorite phrase, "good googly moogly," bringing laughter to those around her.

April was born to Lloyd Sexton and his wife Donna Sexton, and Martha Minor and her husband Paul Minor. She was the oldest of four siblings, leaving behind her sisters Samantha Quiles and Barbara Lee, and her brother Lloyd Sexton Jr.
