April Annette Thomas, known affectionately as "biggie" or "prepre" in her younger years, was born on March 27, 2005, in Shreveport, LA. She peacefully passed away on April 23, 2024, in Cotton Valley, LA, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.

April was a graduate of high school, earning her diploma in August of 2023. She had dreams of attending college and was excited about the possibilities that lay ahead. April was also thrilled to become an aunt, cherishing the bond with her niece.

Singing, writing poetry, and playing with animals were among April's favorite hobbies. She had a beautiful voice and a passion for expressing herself through her writing. April's empathetic and generous nature made her a beloved friend and family member. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and would do anything for the ones she loved.

April's favorite quote, "God will work it out," reflected her faith-led life. She found comfort and strength in her Christian beliefs, and her unwavering trust in God guided her through life's challenges.

In her role as a motivational speaker at her former Job Corps center, April inspired others with her words of encouragement and positivity. She had the ability to touch hearts and empower those around her.

April leaves behind a loving family, including her parents, four siblings, grandparents, uncles, cousins, and a niece who she adored. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

April's memory will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to have her in their lives. Her kind heart, sense of humor, and hardworking nature will continue to inspire and uplift others. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the butterflies she loved so dearly.
