Antwuan Terrez Bowens, known affectionately as Antwuan, was born on January 21, 1976, in New Jersey. He recently resided in Trenton, NJ, where he dedicated himself to taking care of his beloved family. Antwuan believed in the importance of togetherness, often reminding others, "Let's get together; you'll never know when it'll be our last!"

Antwuan's proudest accomplishments were his children: Yanique Bowens, Ishad Bowens, and Antwuan Jr. He cherished his role as a father and took great joy in watching his children grow. Antwuan was also blessed to have shared his life with his loving wife, Denise Bowens.

Antwuan's outgoing nature and strong family values were defining aspects of his personality. He was never afraid to speak his mind and was always there for his loved ones. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his immediate family, Antwuan was survived by his sisters, Sharon Merritt, Sonya Tootle, and Nivea Tootle, as well as his brother, Terrence Merritt. Antwuan's nieces and nephews, So'Nya Jordan, Neaveah Lesane, Jisir Fullenwider, and Damir Tootle, Loved by our late mother Linda Faye Tootle you will forever hold memories of you in our hearts.

One anecdote that captures Antwuan's playful spirit is when he superglued a young family member's ear to the cordless phone while playfully asking for a taxi cab. Though upset at the time, this story now serves as a cherished memory of the bond they shared.

Antwuan Terrez Bowens, a devoted family man with a larger-than-life personality, passed away on December 25, 2023. His legacy of love and togetherness will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
