Anthony "Tony" Scafuro Jr., born on September 26, 1948, spending his childhood in Waldwick, NJ, passed away on October 26, 2024. He later made his home in Butler, NJ.

Tony was a devoted family man, known for his tough exterior but a heart that was warm and generous.

He was an extremely talented chef and musician, which was marked by a rich tapestry of experiences, particularly during the vibrant 1960s/1970s, the era’s that shaped him as a talented musician who embraced life to the fullest. He had a profound love for music, often finding joy in the guitar strings that filled his heart, and was equally passionate about cooking, sharing countless delicious meals with his loved ones. He leaves behind a lifetime of stories, memories and the indelible impact he made on everyone he encountered.

Tony enjoyed watching Ice hockey, baseball, and football, often sharing his favorite moments of these sports with his daughter, Angela Scafuro. Tony also enjoyed the little things such as visiting restaurants and had a special relationship with food. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ruby Scafuro, and his cherished daughter, Angela, who carries forward his legacy of love, music and the ‘Scafuro’ family heritage.

Tony's impact on the lives of others was profound; he was sincere, sensitive, and always willing to lend a helping hand, often giving the shirt off his back to those in need. Anthony Scafuro Jr. will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
