Anthony Ray Gresham, affectionately known as Andy, was born on December 21, 1957, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Ernest Gresham and Lois Smith Gresham. He passed away on January 14, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and kindness.
Andy was a devoted father to his daughter, Tamy Renee, and a proud grandfather to his grandchildren: Alecia, Samaiya, and Anthony, lovingly referred to as "BB." He took immense pride in his role as a father, cherishing every moment spent with his family. Known for his funny and playful spirit, Andy was the eighth of eleven children a master of pranks and jokes, often bringing joy and laughter to those around him.
A graduate of Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City, Andy built a successful career as a handy man, working for El Reno Steel - Metal Fabricators and Suntech Heating and Air. His work ethic and dedication were admired by many, but it was his giving nature that truly defined him. There wasn't a person he wouldn't help if he could, and he was known for his generosity and willingness to lend a hand.
Andy had a passion for football, often sharing his love for the sport with family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Loycene Gresham Colbert, and Annetta Gresham of Oklahoma City, along with his siblings Brenda Gresham and Herbert Gresham of Denver, Colorado, and Lawrence Gresham of Orlando, Florida. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers David Wayne, Leonard Charles, Michael and Julius Gresham. Sister Glendoris Gresham.
His warm heart, sense of humor, and unwavering support for his loved ones will be dearly missed. Anthony Ray Gresham's spirit will live on in the memories of his family and friends, who will forever cherish the joy he brought into their lives.
