It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Anne Renee Palmer, who departed from this world on August 24, 2025. Born on May 27th, 1940, Anne was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend to many.

Mrs. Palmer dedicated her life to education, serving as a passionate educator for 45 years. Her expertise in Language Arts, and Culinary Arts enriched the lives of countless students. Additionally, for over three decades, she imparted the beauty and grace of Ballet Director at Parkside Middle School, Lamar Middle School, and Jackson High School, leaving an indelible mark on future generations.

Anne was a member of the Lions Social Club for over 40 years, where she was loved and respected. She left a beautiful legacy within the club. Her legacy of wisdom, strength, and compassion will continue to guide our decisions and actions for the rest of our lives. Her influence will reverberate through the lives she touched, and her lessons will continue to guide those fortunate enough to have known her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray D. Palmer; parents Elma and Martin Palmer.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Anthony Palmer, Candace Matthews, Renee Palmer; grandchildren, Robert (Kathleen) Palmer, Amanda (Alonso) Palmer, Daryl Palmer, Kenneth Palmer, Marco Oliver, LaJuan Oliver, Derrick Palmer, Roscena Matthews, Wendy Matthews; as well as other relatives, and friends

Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, August 29, 2025 departing at 9:30 a.m. from 235 W Prospect St, Jackson, MI 49203
