Anne Marie Stapleton, lovingly known as Annie, passed away on July 30, 2024, in Charlotte, NC, at the age of 56 from pancreatic cancer. She was born on August 16, 1967, in Moorestown, NJ, and was the youngest of five children.

Anne graduated from East Carolina University where she met the father of her children and received a bachelor's in business management that brought her to a career in insurance as a property appraiser and manager. She also had a passion for makeup and fashion. She had the opportunity to work for Clinique both right out of college and again in the last years of her life. She loved experimenting with different styles and types of makeup, and she took pleasure in teaching her daughter the art of natural beauty. Anne's creativity extended beyond the world of beauty into the kitchen, where she was an incredible cook. Despite experiencing hardship and loss early in life, Anne grew into a person of strength and resilience. She was fiercely independent and proud of who she grew to be. A 'Jersey Girl' at heart, she wasn't afraid to show it, and although it might have come off as brash to some, those who knew her couldn't deny the deep love, care and support that knowing her also came with.

Anne is survived by her three children and ex-husband: Thomas Gentry Stapleton Jr., Abigail Grace Stapleton, Samuel Christian Stapleton, and Thomas Gentry Stapleton Sr. She cherished wonderful memories with the father of her children and was immensely proud of her kids which she loved unwaveringly. Anne also leaves behind her brother, John Stelter, only a year a part in age, they shared a bond from their first walks of life and her love for him was boundless, as an inspiration to look up to and a shoulder to lean on.

Anne passed peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by the care of her children, brother and Tom and Melissa Stapleton.
