Ann Marie Glynn passed away peacefully on November 11, 2024.
Survived by Daughters: Stephanie Hall, Melissa (Tony) Mercado, and Marian Muratore and Jake. Grandchildren: Christopher Muratore, Mercedes Mercado, Harrison Hall, and Nicolas Hall, in addition to numerous Kreidler, Kenna and Gerenser cousins.
Predeceased by: Daughter Vanessa E. Glynn, Grandson Lorenzo A. Mercado, Ex-husband Hugh F. Glynn III, and best friend Judie A. MacNeilly.
Ann married Hugh Glynn on September 23, 1961 and embarked on a life of a Navy wife moving to various states such as Tennessee, Virginia, South Carolina and finally settling in Montville, Connecticut in 1972.
She immersed herself into the Town of Montville volunteering as a Girl Scout leader, and to the Inland Wetlands Commission, Conservation Commission, Economic Development Commission and then working for the town as the Tax Assessor, a job she most loved. She was an active member of the Montville Lioness Club before she left Montville for retirement in Old Lyme.
Ann has spent the last two years in the care of Orchard Grove Rehab in Uncasville, where she was endeared as a favored resident by many of the nurses and aides, and who’s gentle care of her, the family is grateful for.
