Anjela D. Harris, known to many as Anj, passed away on May 28, 2024, at 42. She was born on January 18, 1982, in Salt Lake City, UT, where she spent her entire life.

Anj was a free-spirited individual who found joy in life's simple pleasures. She deeply loved camping, the outdoors, music, and good food. Country music was her favorite genre; she often found comfort in its melodies.

Nothing brought Anj greater joy than her children and grandsons. She was a devoted mother to Anthony and Katelyn, Alyzea and Sonny, and Alicia and Chris. Her grandsons, Grayson and Jerimiah, held a special place in her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Anj's career accomplishments included graduating as the Salutatorian from ITT Technical Institute with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. She was proud of her academic achievements and the knowledge she gained in her field.

Known for her sense of humor and infectious laughter, Anj brought light and joy to those around her. She loved to dance and had a talent for making others smile. Her caring nature and dedication to her family were evident in everything she did.

Anj's impact on the lives of others was immeasurable. Her positive presence and genuine care touched 

the hearts of many. She will be deeply missed by her children, their significant others, grandsons, her life-long companion, Tony Carlson, and many others she touched. Anj leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will continue to resonate with all who know her.

Anjela is preceded in death by her Mother, Geraldine Loya, Grandparents, Gerald and Maryann Schmidt, Aunt Karol Schmidt, Niece Esperanza Chavez, and Sister-in-Love, Corrina Demorest.

Anjela D. Harris will forever be remembered for her zest for life, her l love for her family, and her ability to bring happiness to those she encountered. May she rest in peace.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 08, 2024 from 2:00PM-4:00PM at General Holm Park 1021 West Carlisle Park Ln, South Salt Lake City, Utah
