Anita was born and raised in the family farm house her father built. She worked on the family business, a Grade A Dairy farm.

Anita Mildren Hudson, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on June 17, 2024, at the age of 84. She was born on February 2, 1940, in Stover, Missouri, and most recently resided in Independence, Missouri.
Anita was a woman of many passions and interests. She was an accomplished ballroom dancer and a world traveler, having visited countries such as China, Austria, Egypt, London, Paris, Norway, Greece, and Spain. Anita's love for dancing was only surpassed by her love for her family. She treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and their presence brought her immense joy.
Professionally, Anita made her mark as a computer programmer. She was among the first in her era, contributing to the field's early development. Her dedication and skills were highly regarded by her peers.
Anita was known for her independent spirit, caring nature, and attention to detail. She had a remarkable memory and was a talented storyteller, always captivating those around her. Her energy and happiness were contagious, and she exuded affection and pride for her family. Anita was always willing to lend a helping hand at a moment's notice.
Anita is survived by her children, Mark Hudson and Micheal (Sarah) Hudson; her grandchildren, Tim Hudson, Macey Hudson, and Tessa Hudson; and her great-grandchildren, Phillip Infranca, Damion Infranca, Logan Infranca, Carrington Infranca, and Sky Infranca. She is also survived by her siblings, Glenda (Art) Brauer, Ken (Linda) Ornes, Mel (Jackie) Ornes, and Ralph (Darla) Ornes. Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus and Goldie Ornes.
Beyond her personal and professional achievements, Anita was a woman of faith, embracing her Lutheran beliefs throughout her life.
Anita will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her vivacity, love, and zest for life will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
