Anita Kay Gribben, lovingly known as Mawmaw by her grandchildren, was born on July 19, 1941, in Martinsville, IN. She resided most recently in Fishers, IN. Anita took joy in the company of her family, feeling the warmth of the sun, and sipping on Diet Cokes. She especially loved sunny days by the pool.

On July 17, 1965, Anita married Clifford Gribben, and together they created a beautiful life. Anita was a loving mother to her children, David Gribben and Laura McMahan. She also cherished her role as Mawmaw to her grandchildren: Kaitlyn Pulos Alexander, who married David Alexander, Madelaine Gribben, Emily Pulos, Thomas Gribben, and Nicholas Gribben.

Anita was a big fan of Willie Nelson, milkshakes, being at the beach. Anita also loved arranging fresh flowers and getting her nails done, especially with her daughter and granddaughters. Cliff made her waffles for breakfast and he often made spaghetti for dinner. Anita never missed an opportunity to celebrate and show up for her loved ones and special occasions were often celebrated with pink Angel Food Cake from Taylor's Bakery. Anita also loved hymns and was a long time member of Second Presbyterian Church.

Anita's supportive nature, kindness, and sassy spirit left an indelible impact on the lives of those around her. She was always there for her loved ones, showing up with open arms and a warm smile. Visitors could count of her enthusiastically waving as they left her home.

The memory of Anita Kay Gribben will forever be cherished by her family and friends. May she rest in peace, forever in our hearts.
