On June 20, 2025, the world lost a bright light with the passing of Anita McDonald of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Born on February 20, 1940, Anita lived a full and happy life alongside her husband Ben McDonald.
Anita was a loving mother to her two children, Chris and Mark McDonald, and a doting grandmother to three adored grandchildren. Her family meant the world to her, and she always made time for them despite her busy career as a high school teacher.
Anita dedicated over 30 years to educating young minds before retiring in 2015. Her passion for teaching was evident in the lasting impact she had on countless students throughout her career.
Outside of the classroom, Anita had a love for bird watching. She found peace and joy in observing nature and often shared her knowledge and enthusiasm with her family and friends.
Anita will be remembered for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
