Angie lived a life filled with joy and sorrow, triumph and adversity, but never without a deep and abiding resilience. Angie was affectionately described as "Chiquita pero picosa" - small but mighty by those who knew her well. she had a love for dancing, a spotless home, and cherished family gatherings. Known for her tenacity, fierce love for her family, and her ability to rise above the deepest challenges, Angie will be remembered not just for the life she lived, but for the lives she shaped around her. Her presence, once a guiding force for many, will be deeply missed.
Angie leaves behind daughters Yolanda Ortiz (Gerald), Debra Garcia (Mark) and Eileen Ortiz (Richard). Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brother Porfidio Lovato. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Angie is preceded in death by parents Sotero Lovato and Crisostoma Sanchez Lovato. Late husband Tony Ortiz. Only son Isaac Ortiz. Life partner Henry Martinez. Great grandson Isaac Garcia. Sisters Lenora (Larry) Turano, Lilly (Carlos) Lovato, Flora (Alfredo) Stines and Aurelia (Euphracio) Gonzales. Brother Andy (Rose) Lovato. Sister-in law Dorothy Lovato.
