Angela Evette McClain, born on April 6, 1955, in Detroit, MI, passed away on September 16, 2024, in Clermont, FL. A devoted mother and grandmother, Angela cherished spending time with her family and friends, creating lasting memories with her beloved grandchildren. She had a passion for crocheting, thrift shopping, and exploring flea markets, all of which brought her joy. Her love for good soul food and strawberry ice cream was matched only by her talent for baking and making customized chocolate candy for those she cared about.

Angela was known for her vibrant spirit and ability to light up any gathering, making her the life of the party with her infectious laughter and dance moves. A certified nursing assistant, she took pride in her profession, and one of her proudest accomplishments was becoming a state-certified CNA after overcoming her first battle with cancer.

Angela is survived by her children, Emily Jean Wright, Angelique Stevevalla Knight-Jackson, Alex McClain, and Edmond McClain; her grandchildren, Damerick Mack, Jazmyne Mack, Essence Solomon, Gregory Jackson, Avian, Johanna, Riley McClain, Alex Jr, Alexia, Micheal, and Olivia, and Ezra McClain; and her siblings, Bryson Suber, Alisha Suber White, and Cynthia McKissack. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma Jean Brenson and William Suber, and her siblings, Denard Suber and Kevin Suber.

Angela will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
