Angel D Dean, lovingly known as Ma, passed away on June 7, 2024, at the age of 67. She was born on December 14, 1956, in Miami, FL, and most recently resided in Bridgeport, CT.
Angel had a zest for life and enjoyed being out and about. She spent her leisure time engaging in arts and craft activities and watching her favorite TV shows like the whole power franchise, Snowfall, and The Chi. She particularly loved shows that had gangsters in the hood or were action-packed. Angel also had a deep appreciation for music, especially R&B and Motown.
Known for her outgoing and outspoken nature, Angel was a warm person to be around. She had a wealth of knowledge about sports and was always the go-to person for any questions. Angel impacted the lives of others by being a reliable source of information and guidance. She was like the pre-Google Google, with answers to queries ranging from obtaining food stamps and applying for Medicaid to navigating the intricacies of divorce.
Angel's proudest accomplishments were her daughter, Fatima Hemmings, and her five grandchildren. She loved them dearly, and her family was the center of her world. Angel's infectious personality and her catchphrases, such as "DEEElicious" and "gee mo nelly," will forever be remembered by those who knew her. Her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support will be greatly missed by her loved ones.
May Angel D Dean rest in peace, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.
