Andrew Michael Taillon, 67, of Terryville, passed away on March 12, 2025. Born in Waterbury on November 26, 1957, he was a man of strong convictions, quick wit, and an innate ability to fix just about anything.

An ASE Certified Master Auto Technician, Andrew had a lifelong passion for mechanics, often found with grease on his hands and a determined look on his face. He loved fishing, hiking, and admiring the fall foliage, always finding peace in nature. A deep thinker who never hesitated to stand up for his beliefs, he approached the world with resilience and an independent spirit.

His journey was not without its struggles, but he met them with grit and determination. Through it all, he remained a man of integrity, humor, and strength, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and deep reflection.

He is survived by his beloved children, Amanda Taillon and Andrew Amodio; his brother, Mark Taillon; and his best friend, David Methe, along with David’s wife, Diane. He was predeceased by his brother, Gerald Taillon, as well as his parents, Donald and Frances Taillon (Fijol), whose memories he carried with him always.

Andrew’s hands were rarely idle, and his mind never stopped turning. Those who knew him will remember his skill, his determination, and his love for a good debate—never shying away from sharing his thoughts or challenging another’s perspective. His presence will be missed, but his spirit lives on in the lessons he taught and the stories he leaves behind.
