Andrea Alexandra "Sandra" Alvarez De Dominguez, beloved mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2024, at the age of 61. Born on February 26, 1963, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, she most recently resided in Garfield, NJ.

Sandra was a woman of many passions. She found joy in singing, dancing, and engaging in meaningful conversations with her loved ones. Her favorite foods included warm soups, Dominican homemade dishes, and Italian cuisine, mainly pasta. Fernando Villalona and Milly Quezada were among her favorite musical artists.

Despite her serious demeanor, Sandra had a remarkable ability to light up any room with her singing talent, cheerfulness, and genuine care for others. She cherished her family above all else and considered her home to be her favorite place in the world. She was a dedicated lawyer, an accomplishment she took great pride in.

Her life motto, "Salud y bendiciones," reflected her deep-rooted Catholic faith. Sandra's proudest achievement was raising four successful children: Manuel, Luis, Edwin, and Laura. She was also blessed with grandchildren, Alvaro, Lilly, Mila, Jay, and Vera, who brought immense joy to her life. She is survived by her loving spouse, Hector Dominguez, and her siblings, Tomás, Brunilda, and Marilyn. She was the daughter of Tomás David and Magdalena.

Sandra's caring nature, selflessness, strength, leadership, cheerfulness, and compassion made a lasting impact on the lives of all who knew her. Her presence was felt deeply, as she always prioritized the well-being of others before her own. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will be forever treasured.
