Ana Hilda Collazo, affectionately known as Hilda, passed away on June 27, 2024, at the age of 78. Born on July 19, 1945, in Corozal, Puerto Rico, Hilda later made her home in Miami, FL. She was a loving mother, a dedicated nurse, and a woman of unwavering faith.

Hilda was a strong, independent woman who fearlessly embraced change. As a single mother, she traveled and worked tirelessly to provide for her four children: Jose Miguel, Luz (Lucy, preceded in death), Maria, and William. Her children were her pride and joy, and she instilled in them the values of strength, resilience, and compassion.

In her career as a nurse, Hilda made a lasting impact on the lives of those she cared for. With her selflessness and dedication, she always went above and beyond to provide comfort and offer her best advice. Hilda's patients could rely on her to be straight to the point and to put their needs above all else.

Family was of utmost importance to Hilda. She cherished her 11 grandchildren: Jasmine, Janira, Hector Jr., Jazzline, Joyce, Luz Denise (preceded in death), Sarah, Junito (Edwin Jr.), David, Jose, and Dismaris. She also delighted in her 13 great-grandchildren. Hilda's love and guidance will forever be felt by her surviving siblings, Miriam, Juan, Alicia, Amado, Angel, Juan, and Trinida.

Hilda's life was guided by her motto, "Siempre pongas a Dios primero" (Always put God first). Her unwavering faith brought her comfort and strength in times of joy and sorrow. She leaves behind a legacy of love, sacrifice, and kindness.

Hilda Collazo will be remembered as a passionate and honorable woman who dedicated her life to caring for others. Her impact on the lives she touched will forever be cherished, and her memory will live on through the generations she leaves behind. May she rest in eternal peace.
