Amber Lynn Reed, age 31, of South Dakota, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2025, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by those who loved her deeply and will be remembered forever for her fierce love, warm spirit, and unwavering strength.

Amber was born with a heart that beat for others — as a devoted mother, a loving wife, and a cherished friend. She is survived by her beloved husband of 16 years, Austin Todd, and their children: Tristan, Jaden, Legend, Carter, and the memory of their precious son Connor, who preceded her in death. The bond between Amber and Austin was one of rare, enduring love. From their teenage years to building a life and family together, theirs was a love story written in shared dreams, late-night laughter, and standing strong through life’s darkest storms. Amber was Austin’s heart and home.

She was a woman who found beauty in the small things: the way her kids laughed, a perfect sunset, a quiet moment with her husband, a handwritten note tucked into a lunchbox. She was a warrior — not just in her fight against cancer, but in how fiercely she protected and nurtured the people she loved. Amber lit up every room with her smile and never failed to speak kindness into a world that needed it.

Her funeral service will be held privately at Kirk Funeral Home on , June 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Following the service, Amber will be laid to rest next to her son Connor — a place where the wind whispers memories and love that time cannot erase.
