Amanda Combs, born on March 18, 1980, in Whitesburg, Kentucky, passed away on October 9, 2024, in Hazard, Kentucky. A devoted mother and loving wife, Amanda found joy in family above all else. She is survived by her husband, Troy Longsworth, and her two children: James Combs, 25, who proudly serves in the National Guard, and Rachel Combs, 16.

Amanda dedicated over 25 years to a rewarding career in health care, notably working in customer support at LKLP. Her compassion and dedication to helping others were evident in both her professional and personal life.

An avid horseback rider, Amanda cherished her time spent outdoors, particularly in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, her favorite place in the world. She enjoyed simple pleasures, such as steak and potatoes, and delighted in the music of Carrie Underwood, along with many other artists. A fan of NCIS and basketball, these interests reflected her vibrant personality.

Amanda is also survived by her mother, Betty Combs, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her spirit and passion for life will endure in the hearts of her family and friends.
