Most recently residing in Brooksville, MS, Alvin was the proud owner and founder of Alvin Scales & Sons Construction, a business that not only showcased his skills as a construction worker but also emphasized his commitment to hard work and excellence. His entrepreneurial spirit was a source of inspiration for many in his community.

Alvin was deeply involved in his local church, serving as a deacon at Mt. Samuel M.B. Church, where he shared his faith and offered guidance to others. His spiritual beliefs were a cornerstone of his life, guiding him in his actions and interactions with those around him.
