Alvin Laroy Corber Born February 1,1946 Died April 5th 2025. he was 1 out of 9 children, to James and Leona Corber in Topeka Kansas .In his youth he had an opportunity once to work at Disney as a cartoonist, but his parents told him he had a pregnant wife at home. This missed opportunity was his biggest regret he once said. married to Kathleen colony in 1968 had 2 children Chari Apodaca of California and Terry Corber of Topeka , they divorced in 85, he then remarried to Suzanne “Suzie” Frost in 87 and divorced 91, He is survived by his Long time close friend Joyce Corber, he was good to his friends and neighbors Gloria,Monica,and Jeff. THANKYOU for your help. He would help others when he saw a need , He loved fishing and bowling , he was a painter and carpenter he is also survived by brother Robert “Bobby”Corber of Topeka,preceded in death Mother Leona Corber father James Lee Corber sr Brothers are Lee Corber sr,Jimi Corber ,Rose Marie Morris,Laura Mae Cohee, ,George Corber sr ,James Corber Jr ,William Billy Corber ,Cheyenne Corber granddaughter ,he is also survived by many nieces and nephews who helped cared for him Brenda and Lee jr He was a force to be wrecked with! That’s for sure! But underneath that he was the sweetest man in the world too! Like an acquired taste you just had to know how handle him.he loved country music and laughing He was an Artist as well very talented and gifted he could draw on paper what you described from your mind , I was his biggest fan. He built fireplaces , decks , you name it! He was pretty amazing ,He’s painted portraits and waterfalls , he’s traveled to mt Rushmore and New York but he loved his home state Kansas, he loved his animals and Baby girl his loyal dog he loved her so much, he has additional grandchildren from his son Terry And 7 grandchildren Cameron Corber of parsons ks, Caylena Corber of Slidell Louisiana Chase Corber of ponchatrain Louisiana, Cainan Corber of Oroville California, Cody Corber of Oroville California and lela Apodaca of California .great grandchildren are George,Xzayvion,Raelyn,Carson,Chase the 2,Cheyenne,Maddox and Kayleb. Many nieces and nephews and cousins, If anything from him I’ve learned that if you work hard and save your penny’s anything is possible. Forever you’ll be missed Dad!!! I Love you !!!! I’ll always Love you!!!!
I’d like to have a memorial service for him somewhere nice for all to gather. And share memories have a brunch together, and I’d like to let balloons go with a special message in each one from each person, something you’d like to say to him.
