He could light up a room with one smile. To spend time with his family and filling the room with laughter and smiles. loved his family immensely and cherished spending time with family. He was always willing to give advice to anyone who would listen.
He leaves behind his grandchildren ; Kevin Badeaux , Oscar Badeaux , Jennifer James and Nitkitkia James
He enjoyed pasta , fried chicken , pig feet , spaghetti and most importantly rice and gravy was his all time favorite.
He was an amazing piano player who enjoyed playing at all the family functions getting all the family members to join in and sing along.

Allen Having accepted Christ at an early age, he was a Christian believer and was baptized in New Iberia , LA. He joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church #1, where he served as a Deacon and church treasurer. Allen attended school in New Iberia Senior High , LA and upon graduating from NSH, he enlisted in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge upon completion of his tour of duty. His zeal for education inspired him to attend Grambling State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. His life can be characterized from a song of the late Mahalia Jackson, "If I can help somebody as I travel along, then my living shall not be in vain"
