Alice Jordan, a beloved resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, peacefully passed away in her home surrounded by her family on September 3, 2024, at the age of 66. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and the community she touched throughout her life.

Alice was born on February 9, 1958, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, to her loving parents, Matthew Pridgen Sr. and Gladys White. She grew up in this close-knit community, fostering lifelong connections and a deep appreciation for her roots.

Alice's kindness extended beyond her immediate family, as she formed a cherished bond with James Martin, her domestic partner. Together, they created a life filled with love and companionship, supporting each other in good times and bad. James, along with his three daughters Elizabeth Martin, Robbie and Bobbie Martin and two step -daughters, Jill York (Jonathan), and Helena Garrett (Chris), survive Alice and will carry on her legacy of love and compassion.

Mary Cumbie Watts, Alice's beloved daughter, precedes her in death, leaving behind a void that will be deeply felt. Mary's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
