She loved to sing and dance. And anything that was fun she was up for it, and lord knows that lady had to have that inhaler, But she still made sure she was included in some fun. She loved to step with her brothers Leon and dion but she was the life of the party when she danced with her oldest brother (her twin) Micheal.
Her favorite food was gyro, cheeseburgers and fries or give her some noodles or a hot dog and chips and she was straight.
Anybody that knew Alice knew that she loved her some John b, Luther Vandross, Charlie Wilson, and Five heart beats but you couldn’t tell that lady nothing about no Temptations that was her favorite group.
Interesting fact she was smart top of her class and use to work at the post office. That lady was so book smart she knew the answer before you could finish a sentence. She went to st Leo and academy of our lady high school. That lady was something else but couldn’t no one tell her she wasn’t book smart.
Alice loved nothing but her family you couldn’t say nothing about her family. When you call she on her way like the real gangsta she is. Don’t tell her anything about her grandbabies because you will hear her mouth we might get cursed out later on but she still had our backs.
Her favorite place in the world was going to the grave site to visit her mom and dad. That was something very important to her for anything that came along such as holidays, anniversaries and more. That was her first destination every holiday.
She didn’t have a favorite tv show but her number 2 favorite movie was stomp the yard she would put that movie on back to back. Alice would sit and bug you to find stomp the yard until she fall asleep then get mad if you turn it off.
Alice was always a fast walker fast talker and go getter. That was her sport that lady would walk up and down Chicago to where she needed to go. She wasn’t waiting on no one to take her anywhere she was going to get where she needed to go bus, scooter, walk she getting there.
Shorty became her nickname while living in Florida. Everybody loved Shorty ,she made sure everyone had what they needed you ain’t have she made sure she got for you and if you had kids you knew them kids was going to have it. Shorty just fit the nickname that was given to her she was a (Short little Gangsta). Don’t let that shortness fool you she was about that life.
Alice parents were Wilbur gene coy and Pamela coy. Two loving couples that were hard on Alice but gave her that tough love they knew she had because they knew she was strong and a go getter. No matter how much she struggled or fought her battles she still had love.
We all had that feeling this beautiful women actually had superpowers, Alice tried to never miss a birthday in her kids and grandkids life she always sent a card and the amount of how old they turned that year didn’t miss a dollar and if she did best believe you getting it the next day. She wasn’t missing no birthdays or holidays for no one.
Through her battles she seem to always make it up to not only herself but to her family and others. She made sure she did what she could to make her family happy. She may have had some troubles but she had her family that helped her survive this crazy world like (Stinky)Kristie coy ,Kiana coy, (Pretty Ricky)Kristen coy ,Kourtney coy ,Leon coy ,Dion coy, (Gangsta)Kayla Gilbert, (Arianna Sampson ,sherry coy,(Pearl)Jakhila coy, (jack jack)Jakharri coy, Zakai Lowery and (granny )kiana harris. Her loving family and friends cared and love Alice with everything in us and she will always be celebrated.
We'll plant real trees for you in Alice's memory and display your contribution forever.
