Alan Westwood, known affectionately as Big Al, passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on April 15, 1941, in Stratford-upon-Avon, UK, he spent the latter part of his life in Scarborough, ON, Canada.

Big Al was a dedicated appliance and refrigeration technician, as well as a successful entrepreneur, whose work ethic and commitment to quality earned him the respect of many in his field. He shared a loving marriage with his wife Yvonne for 61 wonderful years. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised two sons, Gary and Steve. Al was particularly proud of his daughter-in-law Nicole and adored his granddaughter Kyleigh, who brought immense joy to his life.

Al's passion for music, especially the tunes of Frank Sinatra and the Toronto All-Stars Big Band, reflected his vibrant personality. He was truly a kid at heart, known for his love of people and ability to bring happiness to those around him. His laughter and kindness left a lasting impression on family and friends alike.

He is survived by his loving wife Yvonne, sons Gary and Steve, daughter-in-law Nicole, granddaughter Kyleigh, and his sister Annie. Alan Westwood will be remembered for his generous spirit and the warmth he brought to every room he entered.
