Aiy’iviewe’mwinoya departed this life on May 22, 2025 at home.

Family: Husband Eguagie Iyalekhue, two daughters Itohan and Isoken Eguagie. Mother Roberta E. Jones, Sister Renee Jones, and nephew Grai Jackson.

A beautiful and thoughtful soul. She left this earth with a loving, believing and strong heart. She fought with RCC and breast cancer for almost 2 years. Throughout her struggles, she still held onto faith in Christ to help her to victory, even in her near constant pain.

Aiy’iviewe’mwinoya, or Ivie for short, was a generous and loving person. She wasn’t loved by everyone, nor was she the most popular, but that does not minimize the impact she had on those who truly knew her. She was caring and giving she was also sometimes looked over or taken advantage of she was but never let it dim her light she continued to do for others and spread kindness even at times we didn’t think she should have but whether her actions were understood or not she always had good reasoning she kept her head up high and kept going despite the hard times but you could never mistake her for a pushover she guided her children through their worst and she was sincere she was special because she had a strong belief in the lord and never let anything take her down despite the battles though there were times she had questions and didn’t quite understand what the lord had in store for her and doubts that she was doing enough for the lord to pay her any mind she still trusted in him and his word we wish her story didn’t end so quickly but it was gods choice to take her off of this earth to give her a better life without any of the pain she was previously facing we know god is watching and guiding her through the heavens and we will continue to pray for her as she watches over us with god and all of our other loved ones as angels we guide though it is hard we all must move on do not be too saddened by this and start questioning god instead pray for her and know that she is still watching over her and be happy knowing that she is no longer in pain and in a better place she would not want us here on earth to be miserable she would want us to celebrate her life and continue going on knowing she is still watching over us we’ll see you soon
