Aimee Renee Burke, affectionately known as Aimee Nay, passed away on January 6, 2024, at the age of 52. She was born on August 7, 1971, in Kingsport, TN, where she resided until her passing.

Aimee had a zest for life and found joy in helping others. As a social worker, she dedicated her career to making a positive impact in the lives of those in need. Her proudest accomplishments included finishing college and receiving her degree, a testament to her determination and perseverance.

Aimee had a diverse range of interests. She had a deep love for Korean food, particularly their delicious chicken dishes. She also had a passion for music, with BTS, Black Pink, Stray Kidz, and pop music being among her favorite artists and bands.

South Korea held a special place in Aimee's heart and she cherished in the thought of getting to visit there one day. She also found solace and joy in the beauty of Atlantis in the Bahamas. Aimee's favorite sport was football, and she enjoyed cheering for her favorite teams.

Aimee was a loving and devoted mother to her two children, Ashley Burke and Nicolas Grossberger. She was also a proud grandmother to her grandson, Brendyn Burke. Although she experienced heartbreak in her romantic life, Aimee cherished the love she shared with Seung.

Aimee will be dearly missed by her surviving family members, including her mother Judy Smith and stepfather Don Smith, her father David Burke and stepmother Jane Burke. Her funny, smart, caring, and intelligent nature left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing her.
