In Loving Memory of Aida Sousa
February 13, 1934 – April 9, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Aida Sousa, who departed this world peacefully on April 9, 2025, at the age of 91.
Born on February 13, 1934, Aida lived a life rooted in love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was the heart and soul of her home—a woman whose kindness, wisdom, and selflessness touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Aida is survived by her three devoted sons, Alex, Michael, and John, who carry forward her values and deep love for family. She also leaves behind a legacy of love in her grandchildren: Adrian, Darian, Kristine, Shelby, Kristopher, Mikey, Danielle, Monica, David, and Michelle, and her cherished great-granddaughters, Charlotte and Scarlett.
Aida was the rock of the Sousa family—a steady presence through all of life’s joys and challenges. Her analytical mind, gentle spirit, and fierce dedication ensured her family was always cared for and supported. Her home was a haven, not only for its warmth but also for the unforgettable aromas of her exquisite Cuban cooking, which brought her family together time and time again.
She taught us all what it means to love unconditionally, to show up for one another, and to face life with grace and resilience. Though our hearts ache, we are comforted knowing that her legacy will live on in the strength of the family she built and the memories we hold so dear.
Aida Sousa will forever be remembered, deeply missed, and eternally loved.
