After living and working in Seattle for 30+ years, Agnes retired in 2014 and moved with her husband, Stan, to Poulsbo, Washington
Gardening wasn't Agnes's hobby. It was her passion. From early Spring through late Fall, her expert and gentle hands nurtured the most beautiful flowers. At their acreage in Seabeck, Agnes and Stan cultivated luscious fruit trees, flowers and a very large vegetable garden.
Agnes never ate "junk" food. Her cooking talents spanned simple to complex recipes. Her one "vice" was ice cream which she definitely enjoyed!
Agnes loved nothing more than being outside. When she was younger, she was an avid trail climber. And walking. Every day it wasn't raining heavily, Agnes could be seen in Seattle or Poulsbo, walking with her customary swift stride. Of course, this was in addition to the thousands of hours she spent with her beloved gardens.
Agnes came into one's life quietly and without any pretense. Wirh her closest friends, she knew and cared about those friends lives and well-being. To be her close friend was an exceptional lifelong gift.
