Addilynne "Addie" Sheila Mae Marie Schibbelhut, born on March 9, 2015, in San Francisco, California, passed away on November 16, 2024, in Alturas, California. Addie was a sweet, kind, and caring little girl who had a profound love for her family and friends. With her bright blue eyes that could light up any room, she brought joy to everyone she encountered.
A lover of arts and crafts, Addie found happiness in creating and expressing herself through her art. She cherished time spent with her family, and nothing made her happier than enjoying a meal of chicken on the bone or cheeseburgers with pickles. Football was her favorite sport, and she enjoyed cheering for her team with enthusiasm.
Addie is survived by her parents, Bradley Schibbelhut and Adam Lafferty, and her mother, ShawnTay Lafferty. She leaves behind her siblings: Eddy, Caleb, Caden, Chandler, and RoseMarie of Alturas, along with Jennifer Hayse of Kansas. Her loving grandparents, Jonny and Loretta Sharp, Sandie and Dana Bailey, Krista and Kenny Weyburn, and David and Amber Andress, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, will also carry her memory.
Addie's motto, “Bruh, what the Sigma,” reflected her playful spirit, and she had an innate ability to connect with all living creatures, showing a particular love for animals.
Her services will be held at the Brass Rail on Saturday, November 23rd, at 1 PM. Addie will be greatly missed but remembered fondly for her kindness and the light she brought into the lives of those around her.
