Investigated and advocated for solutions to racial and gender disparities in the HIV epidemic, characterized the epidemiology of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, highlighted the role of sexual network patterns and structural factors in racial disparities in the U.S. HIV epidemic, advocated for women's health
