Timothy Levon Smith, age 46, passed away on February 11, 2024, in New York, NY. He was born on June 24, 1977, in Raleigh, NC, and was the loving son of Jackson Wilson and the late Elizabeth Smith. Timothy was married to Brenda Smith, and together they built a beautiful family.
Timothy was a devoted father and his proudest accomplishment was his children. He is survived by his two children, Jahleek and Jahlia Smith, who were the center of his world. Timothy cherished spending time with his family and loved nothing more than seeing them happy.
In his free time, Timothy enjoyed indulging in his favorite hobbies of reading and hunting. He also had a passion for delicious food, with fried chicken and oxtails being among his favorites. Timothy found solace in the music of Michael Jackson and often quoted, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade, baby."
Timothy, known affectionately as Tim, had a vibrant personality and was always the life of the party. He had a special place in his heart for Jamaica, which he considered his favorite destination in the world. When it came to TV shows, Martin was at the top of his list, and he loved to cheer for his favorite football and basketball teams.
Professionally, Timothy was a therapist, and he took pride in helping others overcome their challenges. He was greatly admired and respected by his colleagues and clients.
Timothy is deeply missed by his family and friends, including his father Jackson Wilson, sisters Angel and Tina Wilson, and brother Jackson Wilson. Although he is no longer with us, Timothy's memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.
A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Timothy's life and honor his memory.
