Rena M Rasmussen, lovingly known as Rae, passed away on May 8, 2024, at the age of 14. Born on May 7, 2010, in Dallas, Texas, Rena was a vibrant and compassionate soul who made a lasting impact on those around her.

Rena called Dallas her home, where she spent her days pursuing her favorite hobbies. She had a deep love for swimming, fishing, reading, and caring for animals. Rena's passion for rescuing animals was unparalleled, and she dedicated herself to fighting for dogs on death row and advocating for their breed.

Next year, Rena would have proudly graduated in February, showcasing her determination and commitment to education. She possessed an unwavering spirit and lived by the motto, "No matter what's thrown at you, get back up."

Hawaii held a special place in Rena's heart. It was her favorite place in the world, where she found solace and peace. Rena's adventurous spirit and zest for life were evident in her love for exploring new places and cultures.

Rena will be remembered for her intelligence and her stubborn nature. When she entered a room, all eyes were drawn to her. She impacted the lives of those around her with her captivating presence.

Rena is survived by her three siblings. Her older sister makeyla brown 25, her twin brother damion 14, and summer 10.Her absence will be deeply felt by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and unwavering dedication to the causes she believed in.
