Penelope Button, 54, a resident of San Jose, CA, passed away on June 23, 2015. She was born on December 12, 1960, in Los Angeles, CA, to parents Patricia and James Button.
Penelope had a zest for life and a love for adventure. In her younger years, she worked as a stunt double in movies, showcasing her fearlessness and dedication to her craft. When she wasn't on set, Penelope enjoyed indulging in her favorite hobbies, such as reading, watching movies, and playing the piano. She had a particular fondness for the classic film "The Sound of Music," which never failed to bring a smile to her face.
Penelope had a heart full of compassion and spent her free time volunteering at animal shelters, caring for and loving every furry friend she encountered. She was also known for her love of karaoke and could often be found belting out her favorite tunes with friends and family.
Above all, Penelope cherished her beloved dog named Oso, who brought immeasurable joy and companionship into her life. They shared an unbreakable bond that brought comfort and happiness to both of them.
Penelope's favorite place in the world was Rome. She admired the rich history and beauty of the city, and it held a special place in her heart.
Penelope is preceded in death by her brother, Jonathan Button. She will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Patricia and James Button, along with her many friends and extended family members.
A service to honor and celebrate Penelope's life will be held on June 30th at 3 p.m. at the Darling Garden Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to local animal shelters in Penelope's memory.
Penelope had a vibrant spirit and a kind heart, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
